Local bakeries are a mainstay of the Latin American economy, as much in Peru as anywhere else. It is hard to walk by most streets without being tempted by any number of carbo-rich items. Jimmy's Baguetería and Pastelería, specializing in breads and pastries, is no exception. It also features a large assortment of chicken, beef and pizza empanadas, along with the fresh baked bread and stylish wedding cakes. You will have a hard time saying no to anything once you step inside.
