Claro is one of the largest providers of cellular phone service in Peru, and travelers considering an extensive, or even short-term, stay in Peru might look into what Claro offers. For an investment of 89 soles, or $25, they can purchase a cellular along with 210 minutes, with additional minutes available through inexpensive phone cards. Claro's office in Chorrillos is located in the Centro Comercial Plaza Lima Sur shopping mall, at the Paseo de le República.
