Punta Hermosa Beaches

The area around the coastal town of Punta Hermosa is lined with numerous world-class breaks. It is no coincidence that Peruvian champ Sofía Milanovich owns a prime location beach house here. Heading south from Lima to around the 40 km. mark, it is best to take the side road beach access highway from the Pan-American Highway. In addition to numerous decent and cheap restaurants along the road, well-marked signs mark off each major beach from there, starting with Caballeros. A few of the many other notable breaks within a few kilometers south include Señoritas, La Isla and Punta Rocas.
