Admission: Adults, 6 soles / $2; students, 3 soles / $1. Rates for foreigners may be higher.
The Lima Art Museum (Museo de Arte de Lima) has the best collection of Peruvian art in the country. The paintings cover the colonial era to the present, and there is also a selection of woodcarvings, furniture, etc. There is also a coffee shop, gift shop and movie theater. Check with the museum before you visit, as they often arrange interesting temporary exhibits.
