Located in Larcomar, Aura is the premier upscale dance club in Miraflores, and for that fact, in all of Lima. A huge dance floor, several bars and lots of lounge areas turn it up with a mix of pop (Latin, US and Brit), electrónica, and techno. It's is the place for posh, youthful 20-something limeños to be seen. Sophisticated, classy dress is typically the attire, men should plan to wear collared shirts; oddly enough, jeans are okay. Reminiscent of the Buenos Aires nightlife scene with a little LA and Manhattan spice thrown in, neon lights and modern decor keep it fresh. Aura is open until sunrise on the weekends and doesn't really pick up speed until 2 a.m., giving party-goers three to four hours of non-stop dancing. Any traveler who wants to keep the party going past the typical 3 a.m. closing hour, won't be sad, even to pay the pricey 40 soles (or $12.50) to get in.

Travel Tips: Drinks are on the cheaper side and they are selective about who they let in, the key is to dressy nice and pay the 40 soles cover.

Its a very safe club, though.
