Along Costa Verde Beach Road
Miraflores, Lima, Peru
Surfing
Makaha is the most popular for beginner surfers, with both good inside and outside left and right breaks from an exposed reef. Schools and newbies occupy the inner break, and be warned, it can get fairly crowded on weekends. Several kiosks along the sidewalk rent boards and wetsuits for 20 soles / $6.60 per hour or less, and offer lessons for about 40 soles / $ 13.30 per hour.
Getting There
Go to Miraflores and head to the beach near Rosa Náutica Restaurant's pier-- north of the pier you'll come upon Playa Makaha.

Price Description: To rent boards and wetsuits costs 20 soles / $6.60 per hour. For lessons, it's about 40 soles / $13.30 per hour.
