Mario Vargas Llosa Walking Tour - City Walk Lima - Peru

During the 1950s, Nobel prize winning writer Mario Vargas Llosa grew up in Miraflores. Take a walking tour of the places that inspired The City of Dogs, Conversation in the Cathedral, Aunt Julia and the Writer and other great works by Vargas Llosa. The stroll goes from Parque Kennedy, down Pasaje Champagnat and Avenida Pardo, to Parque Salazar. Along the way, you’ll see the places that marked the author’s youth, like the Instituto Porras Barrenechea, where Vargas Llosa’s teacher introduced him to the artistic and diplomatic worlds.
