La Isla del Mono offers Lima’s seafood at its best. Offerings include their mouth-watering Ceviche de Lenguado, or sole ceviche-raw sole, served dripping in a delicious lemony-chili sauce. You also can partake in a variety of other fishy treats. If you’re lucky, they may offer you a free pisco sour or two. New as of October 2007, the restaurant’s decor is modern and chic but minimal, located in one of the few remaining older buildings in Miraflores.

Excellent food and service

If you want to try Peruvian cerviche, this is the place to go. I hate seafood, but here I tried a cerviche and I am converted. This place is superb.
