Owned by a couple of Argentine artists, this art bar’s ambience feels like Buenos Aires and its cultural life. The bar is divided into three main areas: a comfy bar lounge at the entrance, a European-style dining area and an open-air terrace. They also have a room for alternative events like theatre, poetry or dance. Photos and paintings adorn the walls. Not surprisingly, the kitchen serves a variety of Argentinean cuisine, like matambre and their famous steaks. Tango workshops are held twice a week.

Great atmosphere and tasty food, especially the home made pastas. Waiter was able to suggest a good wine to go with my dish. The area got fairly noisy as people poured in and the light had a bulb-problem, it kept flickering. Free appetizers (mini-potatoes, giant beans and sweet carrots, and crusty garlic bread). Plates sometimes come in 2 sizes: normal or giant. Giant isn't specially huge, just for bigger appetites. Reasonable prices (77 soles for 2 main meals, free appetizers, beer and wine). No added service or cover charge, which means no nasty surprises when the bill comes. Young artist/fashionable clientele, some foreigner but mainly latinos.
Great place, will come back without a doubt.
