Scena

If you don’t feel like you’re in a swanky New York City bar when you walk into Scena, it might be for the lack of New Yorkers. And like a Big Apple bar, Scena is a place to see and be seen. A more upscale restaurant and bar with bright colors and bright lights, Scena takes its name literally from “The Scene,” as in theatre. Don’t be surprised to see champagne on multiple tables here. As for the food, the menu is influenced by the Middle East and combined superbly with fresh Peruvian ingredients. More fun arrives at 10 o’clock when a surpise 20-minute performance begins. The lights lower and the entertainment begins—a trapeze show, a tight rope walker or perhaps a harlequin flirting with the audience. The decoration is nicely bizarre. A surprising touch is a man’s voice dictating yoga lessons in the ladies’ restroom, which can be quite a shock for the unprepared.

amazing shows while you dine

The atmosphere is as good or better than you might find in the U.S. It has something I have never experienced before while dining...a FREE wild and hilarious show. There are singers, acrobats, and other various performers along with delicious drinks and incredible food. THE BEST!!!
