Oddly enough, the most authentic English pub in Lima, The Old Pub, is located in the heart of Lima's "Little Italy," or as some call it, "Pizza Street," Calle San Ramón, a short road near Parque Miraflores. But don't let a whiff of Italy deter you; after all, it's an English pub, owned by a proper Brit—and it's in Peru—so you've probably come searching for that refreshing taste of home and comfort. Quickly upon entering, you know you've got the real deal before you with the large display of beers on tap, the colorful mosaic of old drink coasters pinned to the wall, and of course, the dart board, one of only a few in town. The super friendly crowd (not surprisingly many ex-pats and travelers) and the nostalgic environs of the The Old Pub will fill you up with a sense of place and some jolly good cheer. Sadly, you won't be able to satisfy those hunger pangs with a plate of old fashioned English fish and chips—the pub doesn't serve food. But let it be known that seafood in Lima is plentiful and delicious, and you can always find a place for some fresh fish after a few good beers and merrymaking.

Great value. Conveniently located in the heart of Miraflores, The Old Pub is the proper place to relax while meeting people from overseas. Friendly staff, great 80s and 90s music and convenient prices on drinks and snacks (try Mike's Sandwich). Getting there: just ask any local about "The Pizza Street", its right at the end, on the left side. You can even play darts with Mike, the owner himself... but you will probably lose!!! Open till 2-3am.

nice atmosphere

I love this place, just you cross the door you feel the Brit spirit in every inch of it, and you have the privilege to chat with the owner because he is around most of the time.
