El Virrey

Following their recent move to a much bigger and nicer store, El Virrey now offers three times their original selection of books.  Founded thirty years ago by the Sanseviero family, this store offers a large selection of local and imported books on nearly every subject you could possibly be interested in.  With the additional space, you’ll find plenty of room to sit down and enjoy a good book in one of their comfortable reading rooms.  Plan on browsing for awhile.  Miguel Dasso 147, Tel: 51-1-440-0607.

Segunda Vuelta

For the fashionable traveler with a weakness for unique designs, this tiny shop features clothes by young Peruvian designers.  If you don’t find anything to suit your taste from this selection, don’t miss the excellent assortment of second-hand and vintage garments.
