The affluent San Isidro district is known for some of the best upscale hotels in Lima. This residential and quiet area caters to the mid to high-end visitor, and you will find many business travelers in the area. There are a few exceptions, however, and the tourist with a lower budget can find places to stay as well. The area is safe and recommended for travelers who plan to stay for an extended period of time.
