Lalo's is in Lima's modern San Isidro financial district, on the corner of Augusto Tamayo. They serve traditional Peruvian food like ceviche, mixto, lomo saltado, papa a la huancaína, aguadito de pollo, chupe de camarones and escabeche de pescado. Daily specials also feature international dishes from other South American cuisines. The food is fresh. Eduardo Garland Barón, the executive chef and owner, was born in Peru and has operated restaurants in Cancun, Costa Rica and Houston. The restaurant modern decor is brightly colored. It is a great setting to enjoy a wonderful meal. Drop by for a frozen margarita or pisco sour. Meals are from $3 to $5 plus, drinks.
