By Air

The easiest way to get to Cajamarca is by plane from Lima-it's a one and a half hour flight, as opposed to a 14-hour bus ride. LC Peru is the cheapest flight option, with one-way tickets from $93. Flights leave Lima daily at 5.10 a.m., returning from Cajamarca daily at 7.10 a.m. LAN also flies daily except Mondays, with up to three flights spread throughout the day, but a one-way ticket costs from $280.
