Hotel Tumi de Oro is a bit far from the center of town and the bus terminals, but the price is right. It is one of the cheaper hotels for someone traveling alone in Chiclayo. The large, modern building has rooms that are a bit small and impersonal, but clean. The tiled, private baths have something you don’t find in most city hotels: solar-heated water.
