Peruvian Secrets is a British company operating a different style of tour in the Chiclayo area. Guests sleep and eat in a homestead near the village of Salas north of Chiclayo. From there, tours are taken to see the various museums, ruins and archaeological treasures of the Chiclayo area. It promises to be a unique experience because instead of bunking in Chiclayo each night, guests see Peru in a more authentic context. Not only that, if you are experiencing an ailment you can't seem to fix, Salas is known as the Shaman center of Peru.
