La Mamacha is the get-away for vegetarians seeking refuge from Huanchaco’s sea food menus. This small bistro serves vegetarian sandwiches and blue plate specials, as well as hamburgers and a menú criollo (so your meat-eating friends don’t feel left out). La Mamacha also hosts a Happy Hour. Natural yoghurt can be picked up here, too. Specials $2-2.35, à la carte $2-4. Open 5-10 p.m. (or later, if the energy is high).
