The restaurant side of the business does all the basics: sandwiches, soups, chicken, spaghetti, fish, lasagna and -even- fondue. Lots of the surfers come for breakfast at My Friend, since it's one of the only places open at 8 a.m. and it includes a medium-sized pitcher of juice. The strawberry-banana smoothies are a hit. Open daily until 11 p.m.

amazing, amazing
100%My Friend has consistently good food at an excellent, excellent price. Its picantede mariscos is the best I've had in all of Peru. Any I have eaten since has paled next to My Friend's. Don't miss it.

100%Great value and very friendly staff, there are also great fish and seafood dishes.
Atmosphere
100%I liked the atmosphere. It is owned by a mother and her son, who does the cooking, which creates a nice and friendly atmosphere.
Delicious
100%My Friend is a great restaurant for anyone. I have been to Huanchaco three times. Every time I go, I eat every meal at My Friend. The lomo saltado is the most amazing meal I have ever eaten!
