There is also a growing kite-surfing scene in Máncora. The wind is consistent, the waves always present and the water is warm – making Máncora a hot new spot for kitesurfers. Be warned, that sharing the water and the waves with local surfers is not always the most pleasant of experiences, but if you know what you’re doing, and are respectful of others, you shouldn’t have any problem.
