Manacora beach is growing recognition as a surfer's paradise, transforming this small fishing village into a hopping resort town. During the summer, from late December to March, the city fills to the max with people who want to enjoy the sun and sand on Mancora beach.
Due to its popularity, the town has a good amount of inexpensive hotels. Campers can head to Cocos Camping, located on the new
malecón, about 100 meters north of the beach road. New, luxury-style hotels have opened south of the Cabo Blanco bridge. No matter what your budget, be sure to shop around to find the best deal.
If you are visiting during high season, be sure to make a reservation as far in advance as possible, just to ensure you will have a nice place to end up after a long day of surfing and soaking up the rays.
