Right across the highway from the beach access road down is Walter Palomino’s Hostel Casa Samara, owned by surfing great Walter Palomino. The few simple rooms are enough for a night's rest. All is kept clean and ready for guests to rest between waves. Surfing equipment is for sale or rent and lessons, tours and board repares are available. Plunk down at one of the tables on the front porch to enjoy a quick breakfast or snack at the hotel’s restaurant, El Burrito.
