Máncora Restaurants
As to be expected in a fishing-village-cum-beach-resort, fish and seafood are the main items on menus in Máncora. Prices are higher than in other areas of the country, including for the daily lunch special. Ceviche is a commonly suggested appetizer to these meals. On the road to the beach and along the Pan-American highway are simple eateries with good, inexpensive lunch-dinner menus. The market is at Micaela Bastidas and Calle Los Incas, one block east of Avenida Grau. It has the usual produce and juice stands, and basic eateries operating from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
