This bright, friendly restaurant in the heart of the Piuras Avenida strip along the beach in Mancora has very affordable prices, and offers hamburgers and seafood platters for $3-6. A beer typically starts at $1.50. Juan Vega Ramirez and his brother are the owners and they take pride in offering a clean, convivial atmosphere, with a seating capacity of up to 24. They also point to their large selection of fruit shakes, appropriate for the humid and tropical climate of Mancora. Café Mengú is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
