La Sirena

Location:
326 Avenida Piura
Máncora, Peru

Restaurant

By Ricardo Segreda

Would you care for goat sautéed in black beer or raw tuna marinated in teriyaki sauce? Or, how does potato pasta sound? Your expert chef at the La Sirena restaurant, Juan Seminario, has incorporated exotic combinations of native Peruvian dishes with Japanese and European cuisine to offer something special for the adventurous palette. The menu also comes with an epicurean selection of wines and spirits. Juan's creative flair also extends to desserts such as “Bananita’s Flambé.”

La Sirena combines a restaurant with an elegant gift shop, gallery and clothing store, the latter features homemade fabrics and designs. This is an oasis of originality on the beach strip of Piura Avenida. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 to 11 p.m. Closed Monday.
