Restaurant Arriba Perú

Location:
South edge of Villar sector, just off the Pan-American Highway
Peru

Restaurant

By Lorraine Caputo

Restaurant Arriba Perú is just off the Panamericana. This orange-trimmed, blue and white diner sports a wraparound porch that's great for dining on home-cooked Peruvian food. The menu offers what you’d expect of a fishing village: fish, conch and other seafood ceviches. All are prepared in a variety of manners, including simple á la plancha (grilled) to macho (seafood sauce with a spicy kick). A few token chicken and meat dishes also appear. Entrées cost $1.50-8.35. Open daily 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
