For backpackers, Hospedaje California continues to rack in the best value. The rooms are cheery, the staff is helpful, and the beds are comfortable. The top floor has a terrace and balcony for the ultimate chill-out area. Seems like everything is great in sunny California.
There are no private bathrooms nor hot water. A fan can be provided.
