At Café y Museo del Juguete you can sip on a cup of coffee while you stroll through the Peruvian past. Perhaps the classiest café in Trujillo, this place has an old-world-Paris feel accented by walls covered with photographs of Mario Vargas Llosa and numerous Peruvian intellectuals who have frequented the joint. In addition to the ambience, you will surely enjoy their house drink, Mistella, or any one of their sandwiches, tamales or soups. A portion of the proceeds go upstairs to the Museo del Juguete. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. Closed Sunday.

Love everything there! Just to disconnect from the busy street, it's good! "Billy" the barman makes the best drinks ever, and I mean it! The restaurant next door Spagettoria, I think, is italian food with a Peruvian taste! Magic! 10/10, except it may be expensive for some...
