Recommended by many, Chacón Tours offer a number of tours in and around Trujillo. They boast the ability to provide tours in five languages and are open daily, although get there early on Sundays—they shut at 2 p.m. that day. They can also assist with flights, as they have connections with most of the major airlines. Don’t bother with their website—it is a disappointing array of unhelpful links. Good, honest & helpful
100%They correctly advised us when the road was blocked from Chiclayo to Batán Grande & from Trujillo to Cajamarca a week ago. They did not try to sell me a flight as it could also have been difficult to return. They are good fun in their office, & phoned through to an English speaker to arrange good accommodation & tours.
