Laguna Parón sparkles deep within its turquoise waters. The surrounding snow capped peaks are reflected in the depths of the Laguna making them feel even taller and more magnificent. At the end of the lake, the Piramide de Garcilaso sits proudly at 5885 meters high. There is also a challenging rock climbing wall called the Torre de Parón, or the Sphinx. The drive to the Laguna is spectacular and can be trekked by ambitious and fit hikers. Public transport is available.
