This modern three-star facility, like the restaurant whose name it shares, is easily the best of its kind in Carhauz, complete with a stylish garden in the back with fruit trees and colorful flowers. However, expect to pay accordingly: a single room starts at $33. They do have television, but no cable. Still, the quality of the rooms, beds, comforters, and bathrooms leave no doubt that you are getting your money's worth. El Abuelo also has a cafeteria and a continental breakfast is included. Children under five can stay for free—if they share their parent's bed.
