Just a 15-minute walk from the main Plaza, Hostal Andino is often considered as one of the best accommodations in town. The friendly owners are Swiss and some of the rooms have stunning views of the beautiful Huascaran Mountain.
All rooms have private bathrooms with 24-hour hot water, cable TV, safety box, heaters and phone.
The restaurant, Chalet Suisse, serves international cuisine in a beautiful setting and there is a business center with mail service, internet, fax and a conference room.
There is a laundry service and transfers in/out can be arranged. Additionally, there is a travel agency that specializes in trekking, climbing, biking and horse back riding.
Credit cards accepted: VISA, MasterCard, Diners, American Express. Travel cheques not accepted.
