This relatively new hotel is surprisingly expensive for a city that isn't, as a city, that interesting: rooms start at $35, going as high as $80. The are a bit small but they are clean and pleasant to look at. The Hotel Piramide also offers a nice view of the Huascaran, Peru's highest mountain, as well as the Cordillera Blanca range. Breakfast, served in its café, comes with the price, as does Internet service, and the top floor suites feature jacuzzis.
