The Lazy Dog Inn

The Lazy Dog Inn is an ecological adobe B&B. The lodge has small cabins with fireplaces, home-cooked meals, horses, outdoor firepit and community volunteer projects. It borders on the national park and is 1.2 hours from the town on foot, or about 10 minutes in a car. To get there, you can either take a 3.1 km road from Marian/Cachipampa, but beware, this road is rutted and occasionally impassible. Another alternative is to take the 12 km road, called Via Wilcahuaín Ruins, from Huaraz. The second route is better maintained and more easily passable by car. Prices are based on two persons and include meals. Some rooms are cabins, while others are in the main house.
