This popular bar and dance club is made to accommodate up to 250—which means it is pretty damn big. And they open no earlier than 8 p.m. and remain open until the last customer leaves—so Tambo is for people who seriously intend to party. The usual creative mixes of popular North American, European, and Latin American music is what you’d expect, of course, but they also feature live music and even special performances by locals showcasing indigenous dance. There is not much food beyond some munchies to accompany your drink orders, but there is no cover charge.
