Yungay is best known for its proximity to the dirt road that leads to Lagunas Llanganuco, two stunning lakes approximately 30 kilometers outside of Yungay. Otherwise, tiny Yungay doesn’t have a lot of activities for travelers. That said, there are some little sights around to check out on the way to Lagunas Llanganuco.
