Set in the countryside this Spanish Colonial house in undoubtedly quaint. Originally built in 1822, its current owners seriously renovated it in the late 90s, keeping true to its colonial heritage. The 14 rooms in the Posada are all uniquely sized and shaped due to the original layout of the house. There are five categories of rooms: single, double, executive (2 beds), suite duplex and suite senior. Extra beds are available for the suits. There is a restaurant on site named Restaurant El Mason. It serves a mix on traditional and international dishes, priding itself in its use of locally grown natural ingredients. Some activities such as horseback riding, trout fishing and gardening are available on site. The hotel also offers daily trips to the Inca Baths. The Posada del Puruay offers one of the most relaxing and charming getaways in the Andes.
