El Batán, which is located in an 18th century colonial house, is considered to be the nicest restaurant in town. The prices tend to reflect this; the items on the menu are rather expensive for the area. However, they have a daily menú ejecutivo—or fixed menu—which will only run you $3.50 or so. Vegetarians be aware that the menu is catered toward meat lovers, with the only non-meat offerings being appetizers or salads.
