At first sight this is a pleasant hostel. Tourism posters and a small, flower-filled courtyard greet you. The warm rooms have windows opening onto the patio. All share the common bathrooms. The front gate is always locked, and doña María isn’t very attentive. She keeps the key to the hot shower. Beware of extra charges for what she implied was included in the price of lodging (e.g., hot shower or use of the laundry basins). Signs posted state homosexuals, witchdoctors and a score of others are not welcomed here.
