El Dorado is an intimate and comfortable hostel close to the Plaza de Armas. Doña Flor offers a number of lodging options, keeping in mind the needs of her guests. Rooms are available with common or private bathroom, a bit worn but clean, all with hot showers. The good-sized rooms are homey, bright and well-kept. Some have balconies. Behind the hostel is a beautiful courtyard garden you can enjoy while washing your clothes. Hostal El Dorado is definitely the best deal in its price range.
