This hostel, yet under construction, is already offering four warm rooms, two with private bathrooms and two with common bathrooms, for a bargain introductory price. Each room has a large picture window. The small baths all have hot showers. When completed there will also be a garage. El Mirador de Kuélap earns its name with views of the Fortress on the other side of the Utcubamba River valley. The wrap-around balcony is also a great place from which to watch the sunset.
