The courtyard is a working area for the family, with wash areas and, in one corner, a beehive adobe stove where the doña bakes traditional bread. But step into one of the half-dozen rooms up on the second floor, and you enter a sanctuary. The large rooms, for one or two persons, have wood floors and private bath with hot water (when there is electricity, when there is water). You will sleep well with the many blankets on the bed and the comfortable price.
