This hostel is much like the other ten that follow it along the main road through María—but with one distinction: from the common balcony you can watch the nightly soccer game in the village field across the road. The rooms are modest. The private, hot-water baths are clean. El Lirio's owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the different archaeological sites and natural features (e.g., Laguna Cucha Cuella, 10 kilometers away) you can get to know in this region.
