On a hillside above the Utcubamba River rise eight red-roofed duplexes. Each immaculate room is smartly furnished, with tiled private bath and hot water. Terraced gardens begin with a fishpond at the entry level and arrive atop the hill where there is a mirador with a splendid view of sunsets over the Petaca mountain range. If you're on a tight budget, there is one two-bed room or camping (your own tent or one for rent). Both these options share the common bathroom.
