This hostel, popular with tour groups, is a half-block from the Plaza de Armas. The common areas are homey. The entryway has a hand-laid stone floor with the design of a Chachapoyan sarcophagus. Balconies with hammocks overlook interior gardens. Rooms, which tend to be small and some a bit musty, cost 15 soles /$5 (common bath) and 20 soles /$6.60 (private bath) for one person, and 30 soles /$10 and 40 soles /$13.30 respectiuvely for two persons. Amenities include parking and restaurant.
