• Kuélap – a massive ruin that was built with much more material than Machu Picchu but is visited by a fraction of the crowds.
• Celedín – Celedín is just one of the villages in the area that are worth the extra-bumpy trip outside the main cities. These little towns are truly off the beaten track are you are sure to a side of Peru that is not possible in the more popular destinations.
• Baños del Inca--hot springs never go out of style, and these ones even have some history. The Inca kings of 500 years ago soaked themselves in water coming out of the same springs.
