There are fewer hotels in Ayacucho than in other cities in Peru, but there is a decent variety and selection and any budget level can be found. Hotels in Ayacucho tend to have very little internet presence: you will not find much information about them on-line and few of them have web sites, which makes making reservations challenging. If you're visiting Ayacucho, you may want to plan on arriving early in the day in order to look around at the different lodging options.
