After spending a few hours pondering the pre-columbian marvel of the Temple of Kotosh, it's worth stopping by the Museo de Ciencias and investigating its collection of archaeological artifacts uncovered near the temple, which includes a few mummies from Huánuco. A broad range of stuffed birds and animal life from the jungle are also on display here.
