Huánuco has its own airport if you want to make the Temple of Kotosh one of your destinations but you´re pressed for time. The airport David Figueroa Fernandini (Tel. (062) 51-3066) is serviced by daily flights to and from Lima on LC Busre. To get to town, it´s 5 kilometers by taxi on the Carretera Huánuco.
