V!VA User‘s Description When staying in Iquitos you will find the hotels are very varied. There may be a large number of backpacker dives, but there is also a selection of high-end luxury hotels.
If you are traveling on a budget it is best to do an ample amount of research before your stay to make sure that you don't wind up in a total dive. Reviews from other travelers on sites like ours will prove very helpful for you. It is best to make a reservation before you come, in particular during the summer months which tend to be very busy for this area.
